Human Sciences is sponsoring its second roundtable discussion of the fall semester this coming Tuesday, November 1, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in Gorman Faculty Lounge.
- Dr. Carla Pezzia (Human Sciences in the Contemporary World) will talk about immigration and its effects on families.
- Dr. Mark Petersen (History) will talk about the historical background to pro- and anti-immigration movements.
- Dr. John Norris (Theology) will talk about the position on immigration of the Roman Catholic Church.
The presentations will be followed by questions and open discussion. The event is open to all members of the UD community.
