Career Expo in Applied Anthropology at UNT

The University of North Texas is hosting a career expo on February 16. UNT alum will be discussing their jobs, career paths, and how they use anthropology (human sciences) in their work. All students from the area are welcome to attend. See the flyer for more information. Make sure to introduce yourself to the UNT department chair, Dr. Lisa Henry, if you go. She is a wonderful person and great resource in the region. anthro-expo-flyer_area-universities

Jobs in the Human Sciences

Jobs in the Human Sciences

I recently returned from the American Anthropological Association meeting where I joined my colleagues from the National Association for the Practice of Anthropology (NAPA) in promoting our annual Careers Expo. The great news is there are a variety of businesses, organizations, governmental institutions, etc., looking to employ someone with a human sciences background! For those with a particular interest in anthropology, check out the NAPA careers page for more information: http://practicinganthropology.org/careers/
