Graduate students share advice, favorite memories and how they’ve been impacted by their UD experience
After five years of work experience in corporate finance as a business analyst and then as a business intelligence chief, I realized it was the appropriate moment to step up my career with a postgraduate degree in this field. I researched the University of Dallas Gupta College of Business, and I found the M.S. finance program to be the specific challenge I was looking for. Furthermore, when I read about the new COB building, I understood the school was growing, and I wanted to be part of that experience.
What advice do you have for incoming students?
Always be a friendly and excellent classmate. At UD you’ll study with VPs, CEOs and people with the complementary skills you would like to develop. Take advantage of this great networking opportunity.
Fun fact about David:
I complemented my academic background with flute and painting lessons for more than ten years. I believe studying such techniques improved my creativity, something I consider fundamental to my academic and professional life.
