As you begin thinking about advancing your career, you may find yourself considering graduate business school. And statistically, a graduate degree is often an excellent choice. The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) released a survey following the career progression of graduate management alumni from 1980 through 2014. The study found that one year after earning a graduate business degree, over half of alumni work in mid-level positions. Employment among the group progresses steadily to executive-level by five years after graduation and even rising to chief executive officers by 10 years.
While that may all sound great, you’re probably wondering how this applies in your field. Check out this infographic showing the top jobs where earning an MBA can actually advance your career.
